I didn't check the dimensions before I ordered, so I was caught off guard when an email told me it was delivered to my mailbox. Upon opening and using, I was just delighted! We needed a light inside a soft-sided shelter we just put up. This has been perfect! We hung the Lantern from a long S hook on the frame . We turn it on whenever we need to find an item or put something inside. I was very pleased it shipped so quickly, so I had it in about 4 days, which I did not expect. Communication has been outstanding from the company and I couldn't be happier with the Lantern and my purchase experience.

they light up the whole room! best i have ever owned and very compact. these are great when the power goes out or camping.

This light/lantern is EVERYTHING it was advertised to be and then some! On high bright, it provides more than enough light inside our 4-person tent. The red flashing mode is a great safety side feature when needed. A must have for any camper!

Well made, on dim good lite, on bright a lot of lite. The barn 75 yds away shows up on a dark night. 👍👍

This was specifically purchased in preparedness for the hurricane season. The lantern is very stylish in its all black ninja color. This is incredibly bright and was selected due to the ease of access to size D alkaline batteries as you will always have a power source. Be aware that this beast is awesome whereby even Hansel and Gretel can easily find their way out of the woods. The four brightness settings makes it an ideal all purpose versatile lantern for any type of situation.

I bought this lantern to function as emergency general illumination. I had plenty of great LED torch flashlights, but wanted a good general illumination device like the old fashion Coleman Lanterns. The 1500 Monster fills the need perfectly. Even on the lowest setting it is adequate for most activities. Have not had a chance to determine how the batteries hold out but being rated at 70 hours seems generous and I would settle for something less as D cells are not that expensive and certainly not hard to find.

If I bought this 1500 before I bought the 1000 I would have been disappointed. But buying the 1000 (for hurricanes) or safety around the house.... I see the difference w/ the 1500. I liked the 1000 but I LOVE the 1500. It's bright, easy to use and 'rugged' to keep around..... just in case. The workmanship is still #1, and most of all what REALLY got me was the price. IF I said awesome that is only the beginning because the friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted and was happy w/ the product. Nah, I scored and will happily show and use it. I thank them for providing such an excellent product for an affordable price.

Like the fact that it's adjustable brightness. But the first time we hung it up the strap broke. Not very good.
